Greetings from Pastor Rob 9-11-26

Hey Saints,

It’s quite the time for remembrances. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He was killed for telling the truth in a bold but compassionate way. May his tribe increase. Today is the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. Do people have short memories? It seems the same ideology that perpetrated the 9-11 attacks is seeking to take root in our country using political means. These remembrances are reminders of why we need to pray, especially for our country… and the mid-term elections. Are you praying? These are perilous times. I’m trusting God will respond to the prayers of his people. Pray on!

What’s Goin’ On…

*The new Men’s Alliance tribe starts tomorrow, Sept 12, from 7 to 8am. Get physically and spiritually fit, men!

*Nominations for elder or deacon are due this coming Sunday the 13th.

*Elementary age Awana begins this Wednesday the 16th at 6:30pm. A new season begins! The middle and high school Awana commences Monday, Sept 21 at 7pm. (They’re still looking for a couple helpers for security and set-up… talk to Jayne or Leanne).

*The Women’s Bible study, meeting in the fellowship hall, starts this Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30am. Grab a book in the church office, $12 only. 

*The ‘Pray & Paint’ class, scheduled for Sept 25, has been postponed. Stay tuned…

*The Discovery Class, where you learn about what we believe and how we operate, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept 26 from 10 to noon. Please sign up on the table in the fellowship hall.

This Sunday…

It’s here! The return of Ace (Adult Christian Education) and AFC (Ambassadors for Christ, 5th thru 12th grade) happens THIS Sunday! Rick is teaching on 'The Jesus Series’ from the gospels in the fellowship hall and AFC is upstairs. Come on down at 9am for both. In the service, we’ll worship and Rick will bring the sermonic heat from Galatians 6.
