Almost March Greetings, Saints!

Thanks to Jason P for last week's Blast and to Chase A for speaking last Sunday. Deb and I had a get-away to warmer climes, seeing some friends and sights in Arizona. It was a great time. Initially, the weather was cooler than we'd like (50s mostly) but that was ideal for walking around and looking at the red rock and historical sites in Northern Arizona. We saw a couple places where tribes from (roughly) 800 to 1400AD had built stone lodging in cliffs. Pretty cool. Then we spent a couple days in the Phoenix area, where it was 80 and sunny. Ahhh! Don't worry; it'll get here soon enough and then we'll complain about how hot it is (are we ever happy about weather regardless of what it is??). "Godliness with contentment is great gain..."

What's Goin' On...

*Monday, March 2—Senior movie (I Can Only Imagine 2) at Wandermere Village Cinema, 3:20. See Linda H for details.

*Friday, March 6—Sing and Pray in the fellowship hall from 5:30 to 8:30pm.

*Saturday, March 7—Women's Workshops at the church from 8:30 to 1pm. $10 pays for materials and lunch. Sign up this Sunday if you're not already registered.

*Coming soon: Church Potluck on March 15 after the service! See the bulletin for details as to what to bring.

*Are you signed up for the Dinner for 7? Please do! And save the dates: our church Talent Show is April 17 and the Awana Rummage Sale is May 15-16 (and save your spring cleaning items for us to sell).

This Sunday...

At 9am, we have the AFC group upstairs (5th thru 12th grade). Rick will be picking up his series, "Tough Topics for Tough Times" during Ace in the fellowship hall. The next two weeks he'll look at abortion. AND, in addition to worship, Rick will be speaking on Love in Action in our service.

We will also observe Communion this Sunday. Special Note: Someone has requested gluten free communion. We'll have that available on a special plate in-between the regular communion trays. Please take that only if you need gluten free. Gary O will lead us in observing the Lord's Supper.

See you Sunday?
