February Greetings, Saints.

Or should I say Super greetings? This is the weekend of the Super Bowl. Will you watch? Our state's Seahawks are in it again after a little over 10 years. I'll watch for both the game and the ads so I'll have to get snacks during the halftime... but even then, we'll probably tune in to TPUSA's halftime show, which will probably be a bit better than the one planned. With over 100 million watching, many advertisers pay big bucks to reach that many people, and they unveil some creative ads. The airtime alone is $8 million and up(!). Our family is getting together to watch & eat (two daughters & their kids). Should be fun. 

What's Goin' On...

*TONIGHT is the Sing and Pray time at the church at 6:30. Snacks will be provided! If you enjoy hymns, this time is for you. 

*From Elinor: "A young woman in my Mission Chat group is training at Moody Aviation and hopes to become a missionary pilot on half of the large island of  New Guinea. She is from out of state and renting a room in Mead. As of the end of May she will need to move. Do you have or know of some place she could rent?"

*HUGE need: Cookies! The freezer is bare! Would you bake and bring for Sunday? Thanks!

Don't forget the Dinner for Seven (eight or nine). Grab the sign-up deal on the table in the foyer, fill it out and place it on Melissa's desk. It's a good time of eating and getting to know one another.

*AND speaking of seniors, this coming Tuesday, Feb 10, is the next Senior Singles gathering for food and games, noon to 3. Let Karen R or Joyce L know. Food & fun!

At 9am, we continue the learning opportunities with Ace in the fellowship hall, Ambassadors upstairs and Story Hour downstairs. In the service we'll hear from the missionary we support doing jail ministry, we'll worship and pray and look at Daniel chapter 10—where Daniel runs into a little spiritual warfare but he defeats it with perseverance. Check it all out.
