Greetings, People Loved by God.

Isn't it amazing that we're God's kids? Children of the Heavenly Father? We certainly didn't earn that designation! It is freely bestowed on those who turn to Him for forgiveness. Hallelujah. "For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory." Psalm 149:4. And as further proof, aren't you enjoying the leaf colors? It seems as I walk thru the woods or drive around town, I come suddenly on another stunning scene, another riotous display of red, yellow and orange. God sure knows how to decorate the senior stage of a season.

What's Goin' On...

*TOMORROW is the Craft Fair!! Great gift ideas, cheap lunch and baked goods. Plus, there'll be the quilt raffle drawing. We've been praying that as visitors arrive at our place, they sense God's presence and are drawn to him. Join us at the fair and in prayer. (And you bakers, don't forget your treats!). The offerings will be better than the picture below...

*The Men's Retreat will be Nov 7-9. Sign-up continues this Sunday. We'll be joined by guys from Fellowship Church in Spokane. $120 covers the food and stay. There'll be time for recreation and rest, as well as learning and fellowship. Men! Just do it.

*We're having a Discovery Class on Saturday, Nov 22 at 10am. It's about our church, beliefs and how you can grow in Jesus here. 2 hours max should cover it. Snacks and coffee included. Please sign up at the table just inside the fellowship hall.

*We're in the midst of our 'shoebox' drive, aka Operation Christmas Child. Stop in the foyer, grab a box and instructions and get set to bless a child somewhere on the globe. The gospel is included in these. Be praying for the kids who will get your box.

This Sunday...

At 9 we'll have the usual: Story Hour for the younger ones, Ambassadors for Christ, grades 5-12 upstairs and Gary continues with apologetics and evangelism in the fellowship hall. In the service, besides worship and message (the start of the Daniel series), we'll get to meet-in person- the missionary from India responsible for those water wells we helped fund last December! Paul and his wife will be here with new pictures and descriptions of how he ended up in India and what they do there. I'm looking forward to this! Don't miss it.
