Mid-October Salutations, Saints.

Well, it has definitely frozen at our house. Yours? Our garden hoses are drained and curled, the outdoor cushions put away and all but the mums on the front porch are toast. This weekend we'll winterize our trailer. Next weekend we get in some extra wood. THEN we'll be ready to face the cold with boldness. At least we get a break from mowing the grass!

What's Goin' On...

*Thanks for praying! Looks like we've found our nursery worker. :-)  If you'd like to volunteer on occasion with those precious kids, see Melissa. 

*This is the last Sunday to purchase tickets (only a buck!) for the quilt raffle. Winners will be drawn on Saturday at the Craft Fair. 

*Sign up for the Men's Retreat on Nov 7-9 continues. Let us know if you need help with the cost of $120. Food, fellowship, learning and fun. Check it out. 

*Grab your boxes and bless a child somewhere around the world! Operation Christmas Child is on now. See the table in the foyer for instructions and suggestions. 

*We're still accepting donations for kids in our area who have little or no food on the weekends. Of the 100 we're covering, we've got funds for about 65. How about another 35?? Write checks to CCC ($184 covers one child for the year) and put 'Bite-2-Go' in the memo line. Bless those kids!

*NEXT Saturday, October 25, is the annual Craft Fair. Gonna be some unique vendors this year, including leather work, fishing flies and raw honey. PLUS, there's the bake sale and lunch for a good price. Plan on checking it out 9am to 3pm. 

This Sunday...

At the 9am hour, Gary O will present about apologetics and evangelism in Ace. Ambassadors in Christ is upstairs and Story Hour down. In the service, we'll have some awesome worship (and a new song). The message is the last in our Revelation series, 12 total. I'll summarize the flow of the book and a few take-away thoughts.
